ABSTRACT

Nanoproducts for administration via the integumentary system include nanomedicines, nanocosmetics/cosmeceuticals, nanoconsumer goods, and numerous products intended for delivery via the skin and hair. Nanoproducts for administration via the ocular route include nanomedicines and nanoconsumer goods. Dermal and ocular tissues are both affected by sunlight, as are nanoscale and conventional drugs and cosmetics/cosmeceuticals administered via the integumentary system and the eye. The disposition of nanoproducts and conventional products also changes due to photostability.
