ABSTRACT
Mirrors are used to focus radiation, to form images, and to redirect radiation. An optical mirror consists of a substrate which defines the form of the surface and a reflecting coating. Usually the reflecting coating is on the front surface, although for some special purposes back-coated mirrors are used.
