ABSTRACT
A number of radiation detectors are at the disposal of the engineer. The choice depends on such considerations as wavelength region, sensitivity, cost and complexity. Reviews of detectors are given by Bowers and Wey (1994), Crowe et al. (1993), Joshi and Olsen (1994), Norton (1994), Smith et al. (1968), Willison (1994), and Wolfe and Kruse (1994).
