ABSTRACT
This chapter will take a practical look at the classical assumptions of linear regression models. While most of the assumptions are not very important for the Prediction goal, assumption (d) below both matters for Description and has a remedy. Again, this is crucial for the Description goal, because otherwise our statistical inference may be quite inaccurate.
