ABSTRACT
One of the first things that one notices about a patient is the colour of their skin: not their racial colour, though it is important to record their racial origin, but changes from what you would expect to be their normal colour. Although minor colour variations are easier to appreciate in white-skinned people, they are also visible in dark-skinned races.
