ABSTRACT
Rainfall-induced landslides pose significant threats to human lives and property worldwide (Hong et al., 2006). Overpopulation, deforestation, mining, and uncontrolled land-use for agricultural and transportation purposes, increasingly put large numbers of people at risk from landslides (Boebel et al., 2006).
