ABSTRACT

It’s easy to get overwhelmed with information when you are reading a neurology case, and thus it can be confusing to know where to start in the process of localization. Should you focus on the patient’s visual ƒeld defects, or his sensory complaints, or perhaps his hemibody weakness? While there are multiple ways to approach any neurology problem, some localization algorithms are much more straightforward than others, and the one we present here can be applied to the vast majority of neurological cases you will see.
