ABSTRACT

Though diminutive, the Toolbar is comprised of many commonly used tools: Transform Tools and Playback buttons. In this chapter, we will look at the functionality provided by the Toolbar and hotkey selection. We will learn about the too-many-dials problem. We will learn how to translate (aka move or position), rotate, and scale GameObjects. We will learn the importance of pivot points and how to reassign a pivot point’s location inside Unity.
