ABSTRACT
Textile fabrics are special materials as they are generally light-weight, exible (easy to bend, shear and twist), mouldable, permeable and strong. e four major technologies of fabric manufacturing are as follows:
1. Weaving
2. Knitting
3. Nonwoven
4. Braiding
Figure 1.1 depicts the fabrics produced by the four major technologies.
