ABSTRACT

Draing determines the allocation of ends to healds, that is which end will be controlled by which heald. Generally, draing is made in such a way that the minimum number of healds is required to produce a particular design. is implies that ends having similar interlacement pattern should be controlled by the same heald. In the case of draing, ends and healds are indicated along the columns and rows, respectively. A cross means that the end in column has been assigned to the heald in row. As per convention, draing is shown above the weave design.
