ABSTRACT
Women who present with multiple somatic complaints can have sexual concerns and dysfunction as the stressors causing their symptoms. Lack of interest in or desire for sex is the most common sexual problem among women. Other common problems include difficulty becoming or remaining aroused during sexual activity, diffi culty in achieving orgasm, pain associated with sexual stimulation, concerns about vaginal discharge, and fear of pregnancy and delivery. These concerns may be associated with marital discord.
