ABSTRACT

In the early 1990s, the term augmented reality (AR) was first coined by researchers Tom Caudell and David Mizell. Completely separated from it physically, people are fully immersed in experiencing the environment because our minds are visually tricked. Mixed reality (MR) merges created digital content such as images or videos within our reality. In the 3D environments of virtual realities (VR), the interface display can be placed further away from or closer to the viewer. Regarding field of view (FOV), there are two broad types, monocular and binocular. When creating interfaces in AR, VR, or MR, find a balance of distance between the user and any digital object. Placing digital objects too close to the eyes will strain them and can harm vision over time. This is a very delicate rule to follow that must be considered throughout this type of interface design.
