ABSTRACT

Just beginning with Lean implementation may not be sufficient. Companies start with a big bang, and after some time, the deployment loses steam. While derailment is always obvious, it makes sense for one to keep the focus on things that are not happening as desired. However, this requires deeper insights on the nuances of Lean implementation and the relevant change dimensions around it. This approach can be subjective and person driven. This is where a diagnostic tool such as that shown in Table 44.1 can be of help.
