GETTING THE GROUP ON BOARD! Assessing the group It is important to make an informal assessment of your group before you begin the session, as you will need to adapt your material and methods accordingly. What may be very effective, in terms of process and scenario, with a group of dentists may not work so well with a group of accident and emergency nurses, and vice versa! An inter-professional learning group will present yet more challenges as well as additional opportunities for sharing best practice and developing team-working strategies.
