The obvious question is whether these eight pieces can be assembled into a cube. That they do, and much more. This puzzle has great potential as an educational tool. For example:
1. Using two disconnected half-pieces, fi nd all the ways that they can be joined face-to-face. You should arrive at the set of eight pieces, but this simple exercise can be quite instructive.
