ABSTRACT
Much of the syntax of Maple is different from that of Mathematica. For example, to show the result of a command we end the command with a semicolon (;), while to suppress the result we use a colon (:). Also, to form the product of two expressions, we must use an asterisk (∗). 3*4;
As in Mathematica, we use the ^ symbol to indicate an exponent.
