ABSTRACT

I liked the way he looked. With his bowtie and round, thick-framed, goggle glasses he seemed like the professor of image that he was. But more, I liked the way he sounded. He was direct, clear and sincere. His “art” had made him a master of simplicity and in a sense that is what I think lay at the heart of what he stood for. I liked Wally Olins way before I ever met him.
