ABSTRACT
The corpus callosum provides a neural connection between the cerebral hemispheres. It is the largest white matter structure in the brain. The anterior curve is termed the genu and the posterior curve is termed the splenium, while the body connects the two. The complex third ventricle is intimately related to the corpus callosum.
