ABSTRACT
It is essential to note that not every ST segment elevation is pathological. Minor ST elevation in leads V-V3 may be normal, especially if large S waves are present. Such elevation is usually concave upwards and is not associated with any ST segment depression in the other leads. Similar elevation may also be seen in the other anterior leads. Normal ST elevation is referred to as ‘high take off’.
