ABSTRACT

In common with skin elsewhere on the body, the pinnal skin responds with a range of primary and secondary lesions. However, primary lesions, other than nodules, are rare. Papules and pustules are most commonly associated with pemphigus foliaceus, itself a rare condition. Scale, crust, self-excoriation, and alopecia are the most common secondary lesions. It is rare to see lichenification, for example.
