ABSTRACT

CLINICAL SIGNS The majority of cats with scapular fractures have concurrent, trauma-related injuries, which may include pulmonary contusions, rib fractures, pneumothorax, and hemothorax1,2. Injuries to the brachial plexus and suprascapular nerve may also occur. Forelimb lameness, pain, swelling, and crepitus in the scapular region are common clinical signs.
