ABSTRACT
Screening for renal problems is in the main relatively easily accomplished without invasive investigation. Use of urine testing apparatus to detect the presence of blood and protein in the urine is cheap, fast, and sensitive. Equally, the main blood marker of renal function, serum creatinine concentration, is a part of every biochemical automated analytical profile.
