ABSTRACT
The lesions are usually single but some cases have multiple or bilaterally symmetrical lesions. The amount of crystalline material and associated granulomatous and fibroplastic response may vary amongst individuals; however, abundant crystalline material is usually present, as shown in this case. The radiographic and histological appearance are also characteristic. Treatment is by surgical removal and lesions have not been reported to recur following surgery.
