ABSTRACT
Cases have been contributed by specialists in equine medicine from the United States and Europe. As we read and compared the material, it became clear that 90% of equine medical disorders are common to most countries and that, given the frequency and distances that horses travel, it is important for veterinarians to be familiar with the other 10%.
