UROLITHIASIS DEFINITION/OVERVIEW Partial or complete urethral obstruction by calculi is uncommon in cattle. It is most commonly seen in growing/adult males fed intensive rations. Obstruction is reported to be much more common in castrates, but is also seen in entire males.
