ABSTRACT
MUDROCKS are the most abundant of all lithologies, making up at least 50% of sedimentary rocks in the stratigraphic record. However, because of their grain size, and their subjectivity to weathering and landslides, they present more of a challenge in the field and have been relatively understudied. This trend is fast changing.
