Ventricular arrhythmias: general criteria (Fig. 3.3): • Wide QRS complex. • Morphology of ectopic QRS complexes and
sinus beat QRS complexes are dissimilar. • P waves are not associated with the ectopic QRS
complex. • If fusion beats are present, this supports a
diagnosis of ventricular ectopic complexes.
