Blepharoptosis

Pseudoptosis Pseudoptosis ( Table 7.2 ) refers to a condition that mimics a true ptosis.

It is particularly important that a pseudoptosis is clearly recognized and that a neurological or myogenic cause of ptosis requiring further evaluation or an alternative therapeutic approach is excluded before ptosis surgery is embarked upon.
