Postoperative Care The patient is discharged on topical antibiotic ointment three times per day to the eyelid wound until the sutures have dissolved, and topical lubricants for 3 to 4 weeks.
The patient seen in Figures 4.1 and 4.9 is shown before and after this surgical procedure ( Fig. 4.10A,B ).
