ABSTRACT
The coloring of pharmaceutical dosage forms is extremely useful for identification during manufacturing and distribution. Many patients rely on color to recognize the prescribed drug and proper dosage. This entry discusses some of the benefits as well as the difficulties involved with coloring pharmaceutical doses.
