The primary function of elastomeric packaging components used by the pharmaceutical industry, which includes both drugs and medical devices, is to protect and deliver. This entry deals with the advances made by manufacturers of elastomeric packaging materials and the advantages of using this type of packaging in the pharmaceutical industry.
