ABSTRACT
The World Health Organization (WHO) is an intergovernmental specialized agency of the United Nations, with 194 Member States. According to their Constitution, the objective of WHO is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. This entry provides an update on ongoing harmonization activities and outlines new harmonization initiatives.
