ABSTRACT
Motor vehicles used for human habitation which have not been designed for that purpose, or have not been physically altered to meet that purpose, do not fall within the definition of a caravan (see Backer v Secretary of State and Wealdon District Council [1983] JPL 602; 1 WLR 1485; 2 All ER 1021).
