ABSTRACT

The courts readily recognise and enforce obligations of confidence and the obligation generally arises when the requirements, as laid down in cases like AG v Guardian Newspapers (No 2) [1990] AC 109, pp 281-82, described by Lord Goff, and in Wyatt v Wilson (1820) unreported (referred to in Prince v Albert [1849] 41 ER 1171, p 1179), have been satisfied.
