ABSTRACT
As mentioned above, the Unfair Contract Terms Act (UK) appears to apply in Tonga as an Act of general application. Whilst none of the regional countries have made such extensive provision as the 1977 Act or the 1999 Regulations, there is some relevant legislation, which is discussed below.
