ABSTRACT
The Contract Law of the People’s Republic of China (‘the Law’) was adopted by the National People’s Congress on 15 March 1999. It embodies a contract law code, focusing on general principles and on provisions relevant to specific types of contract, such as contracts for the sale of goods.
