Blood, Sweat and Tiers: the Montreal Conference on Air Carriers’ Liability (May 10–28, 1999)

The Montreal Diplomatic Conference took place in May 1999, when delegates from 117 countries met at the headquarters of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in Montreal. Their mission was to revise the patched up but now crumbling Warsaw Convention, particularly its liability system.
