ABSTRACT

The Trustee Act 2000 (please refer to Chapter 7) makes it necessary for will drafters to reconsider the clauses they insert in a will.

Chapter 4 outlined the kinds of clauses that are frequently appropriate, depending on the individual circumstances of the client. In this chapter, precedents are suggested for most of those clauses. Commentary will be given on each clause, indicating its purpose and in what circumstances it would be advisable to include the clause.
