If the period between contract and completion date is less than 15 working days, the time limits in SC/SCPC 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 are reduced proportionately (SC/SCPC 4.1.4).

After completion, an application to the Inland Revenue to stamp the deed must be made within 30 days of the date of the document. An application for first registration is made to the Land Registry within two months of completion and for registration of a dealing should be made within the priority period of an official land registry search to obtain the priority given by that search.
