ABSTRACT
The election of the 45th Parliament in New Zealand, the first to be elected under the MMP (Mixed-Member Proportional) system, has been accompanied by a number of changes to the committee system. This chapter focuses on the future of the New Zealand committee system and provides information and opinion as a basis for comparison with other systems.
