ABSTRACT
Why is it that this school, unlike the establishments discussed earlier, appears to be producing not the next generation of MPs but the next generation of the underclass? The answer again lies in the importance of the process of socialisation, as it is this process that influences a citizen’s upbringing and will ultimately have an influence on their ability to participate in society.
