ABSTRACT
In the case of a child (a person under 18) or a patient (a person who, by reason of a mental disorder within the meaning of the Mental Health Act 1983, is incapable of managing and administering his own affairs), limitation periods do not begin to run until the child dies or comes of age, or the patient dies or recovers (s 28).
