ABSTRACT
Section 14(1) of the Food Safety Act provides that it is an offence for a person to sell to a purchaser ’s prejudice any food which is not of the nature, substance or quality demanded by the purchaser. The food must have been intended for human consumption. The term sale in the Act has a wide definition.
