ABSTRACT
As we have already had occasion to point out earlier (supra, p. 4), the law is not a self-contained social science. It bears the clear imprint of underlying thought patterns, philosophical attitudes and approaches towards solving human problems. In this respect there is already a considerable gap between English and French thinking.
