ABSTRACT

Most rights for employees both during and on termination of employment are now found in the Employment Rights Act (ERA) 1996, but there are still some matters which are included in other legislation, for example, the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE) 1981, the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992, and the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act (TULR(C)A) 1992.
