Tort is a case law subject concerned with compensation for wrongs. It lends itself well to problem questions, though essays can appear on general issues of fault and compensation, and of course a question can ask for a simple ‘explanation’ of a topic without requiring a comparison and contrast. The key words of the question must be understood and followed.
