ABSTRACT
These plans known as biodiversity action plans (BAPs) covering agriculture, fisheries, economic development cooperation and natural resources, plus a cross sectoral plan, were adopted by the Commission on 28 March 2001 (see COM (01) 162). The plans set out methods of meeting the objectives of the strategy, in particular how to reverse the current losses of wildlife, ecosystems, crop and domestic animal varieties and fish stocks.
