EA to submit draft minimum acceptable flow39 statements for inland waters to the Secretary of State bearing in mind its general environmental duties and the need to attain water quality objectives.
Chapter II, Pt II of the WRA 1991 deals with licences to abstract water. Section 24 generally prohibits the abstraction of water from any source of supply save in pursuance of a licence.
