ABSTRACT

Clinical features of obstructive sleep apnoea include: • snoring; • drowsiness in the day; • morning headache (due to lack of oxygen); • intellectual deterioration; • personality change; • mental problems; • impotence; • enuresis; • abnormal movements during sleep; • sleep walking; • cardiac dysrhythmias; • polycythaemia; • pulmonary hypertension; • cor pulmonale (right heart failure).
