ABSTRACT
It is most unusual for examiners to require students to know the detailed rules relating to the content of listing particulars and prospectuses. In relation to prospectuses (which are those documents prepared by companies offering shares or debentures to the public which are not listed on the official list of the Stock Exchange), the rules are set out in the Public Offers of Securities Regulations 1995.
